Subscription & Billing
Your GridNMS Cloud plan, usage, and invoices are managed from the customer portal. This page explains what’s billed and where to manage it.
Manage your plan
Section titled “Manage your plan”Open the customer portal from your welcome email (or ask an admin for the link). From there you can:
- View and change your plan.
- Update your payment method and billing contact.
- Download invoices and receipts.
- See current usage against your plan limits.
What affects your bill
Section titled “What affects your bill”| Item | What it means |
|---|---|
| Plan tier | Your base subscription and the features it unlocks. |
| Monitored devices | How many devices you’re actively monitoring, against your plan’s allowance. |
| Log storage | If you use log management, how much log data you store and how long you keep it. Usage above your included quota is billed for the overage. |
| Add-ons | Optional feature tiers (such as advanced log management) enabled on your account. |
Devices and limits
Section titled “Devices and limits”Your plan includes an allowance of monitored devices. When you approach the limit, GridNMS warns you in the app. To monitor more, raise your allowance in the portal.
Log storage and retention
Section titled “Log storage and retention”If you collect logs, you control how long they’re kept under Configure → Log storage. Shorter retention uses less storage; longer retention keeps more history available to search. The same page shows your current storage usage and quota. See Logs & Detections.
Cancelling or changing
Section titled “Cancelling or changing”Plan changes and cancellations are handled in the customer portal. Need help, or planning to move to self-hosted? Contact support@gridnms.io.
